What patients are saying...
"I first saw Margaret in October of 2015. My first impression was, "she looks so young." This was quickly followed by "she seems really mature" and then "she is so professional." Margaret took time to ask a lot of questions. My impression was that she was learning about me as a person and not just a problem that needed to be fixed. If she was at all affected by learning that I am a geriatric nurse practitioner, she did not let it show. I came for a problem with my knee but her thorough questioning reminded me of a problem with my foot. My knee problem has been quite resistant to treatment and I appreciated that Margaret never made me feel like it was my fault. I like the way that she has been willing to try new approaches. It is always a pleasure to see Margaret as I always receive a warm welcome." -Bill E.
"Margaret has been my acupuncturist for the last few months. She has continued to help improve my long-standing five year problem with my right hip while also attending to my tight neck, shoulder and back muscles. Additionally, Margaret has helped ameliorate my tight jaw muscles. Her successful therapeutic methods and her outgoing personality and willingness to seek feedback make her an outstanding professional." -Karen H.
"After I fractured my L2 and underwent spinal fusion surgery, I looked for alternative ways to approach my recovery and rehabilitation. A friend recommended acupuncture, which I had never tried before. I did not know much about acupuncture, and thought it was only for pain management and not for a proactive approach to recovery. Margaret Haff patiently and diligently introduced me to the science and theory behind acupuncture both for pain relief and crafted a thoughtful approach based on the nature of my accident, injury, feelings of vulnerability in certain places, former physical shape and my recovery goals.
Margaret was always professional yet accessible, which I greatly appreciated as I navigated a completely new experience (both acupuncture and all of the mental, physical and emotional changes from my accident). Although she built a recovery plan from her expertise, she was very flexible and able to adapt to my needs that day while still working within the big picture of my recovery needs and goals. I felt an impact from the first session, which helped me through the week until my next session, for the two months that I sought treatment. Also, Margaret's warm and accessible personality coupled with her confidence and knowledge of acupuncture always made me feel safe." -Molly D.
