Glenside Fire Company #1 is a 100% volunteer Fire Company that has been serving Glenside, Wyncote, Laverock and many other communities for over 115 years. Volunteer Fire Company service is both vitally important to our community and costly. All of the proceeds from the Stop, Drop & Run 5K go directly to Glenside Fire Company for the continued benefit of the community and to help pay for the recent purchase of a new fire truck!

Course Details: Both the 5K run and the 1.5 mile walk/run will start and finish at the Glenside Fire Company Firehouse at 210 W. Glenside Avenue in Glenside. This is conveniently located across the street from the Glenside Train Station for anyone using public transportation. The run will take two loops through the scenic streets of Glenside. A few rolling hills throughout the course will provide just enough of a challenge to satisfy any level of runner. The 1.5 mile walk/run will follow the same course, but only complete one loop.
